The Computer Science Endorsement (K-12) is designed to equip educators with cutting-edge information and skills to teach computer science to students in grades K-12. It is a cooperative effort between the Department of Computer Science and the School of Education. Students can expect to gain strong technical skills and develop strategies to teach these skills to students, including web design, coding, data analytics, and AI-related competencies. Fifty hours of practicum are embedded within the five courses needed for the endorsement.
