Art Education and Music Education
The Multi-age Education Licensure programs are offered to those who are interested in teaching students in grades K-12 in the areas of art or music. These programs are accredited by the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP) and are approved by the Ohio Department of Higher Education (ODHE). Licensure is granted by the Ohio State Board of Education (SBOE). Students in a Multi-age Education Licensure program must meet the Core Curriculum requirements of the University while completing course work in their major area of study. They also take a block of professional education courses that provide a strong framework in the philosophy, theory and practice of teaching.
